Idoma-born singer, Imelda J quits music

Music star and Oyine crooner, Imelda Adah Jane Okwori, otherwise known as Imelda J, has dumped music.

The singer stated this in a terse post on her Facebook page on Friday.

She, however, did not give reason for her decision to dump the music scene.

The Okpokwu-born singer before her exit from the stage, had many hit tracks to her credit.

In 2015, she dropped a song entitled Oyine, in honour of the late Idoma Voice Editor, Jerry Ameh.

She wrote thus, “I AM QUITTING MUSIC. THANKS FOR ALL YOUR SUPPORT👏. NO COMMENT PLS.”
