Idoma-born striker Charles Agada joins Croatian Side NK Istra 1961
Promising central striker, Charles Agada, has signed a contract with Croatian club NK Istra 1961 until 2028.
This exciting move comes barely a month after his kinsman, Akor Jerome Adams, joined La Liga’s Sevilla FC, marking a remarkable period for football talents from the Idoma region, IDOMA VOICE reports.
Agada, hailing from Otukpo LGA, who arrived from the Mavlon FC academy in Nigeria, has risen through all the junior representative age groups of Nigeria and is currently a member of the U20 national team.
His potential was first noticed during the Viareggio Cup, where he finished as the second-highest scorer, showcasing his exceptional power, strength, and explosiveness on the field.

NK Istra 1961’s Sports Director, Saša Bjelanović, expressed his excitement about the new signing, saying:
“Charles comes to us with great potential. We will gradually introduce him through our U19 and B team, as he brings exceptional power and explosiveness to our squad.”
