Idoma-born Super Eagles player, Ogenyi Onazi reveals how ex-teammate Emenike gave him money to build his first house

Benue-born ex-Super Eagles Assistant Captain, Ogenyi Onazi, has disclosed that his former team-mate Emmanuel Emenike, gave him some money to buy tiles while building his first house in Jos.

Onazi whose contract with Danish Super League club SønderjyskE was recently terminated despite it having six more months before it lapses, mentioned the gesture from his former teammate during a chat as he posted the clip on his Instagram handle.

As he hunts for another club, Onazi seems to be training alongside some ex-internationals as several clips have surfaced online.

He was seen sharing a time out with Emenike when he told a third party how the AFCON 2013 highest goal scorer bought him tiles for his first house.

He said in Pidgin English:

“See, my first house wey I build for Jos, na Emenike give me money to buy my tiles.”
