Idoma-born young soldier, Blessing Edache was not killed by Boko Haram – Family source

By Ben Idah

More revelations have emerged over the sudden death of Edache Ene Blessing, a former staff of Nigerian Army.

Following her demise, a section of the media claimed that the ex-soldier was killed by the Boko Haram sect in the dreaded Sambisa forest.

Speaking with IDOMA VOICE however, a family source who would not want her name mentioned, said the late young soldier was not in the battle field when she passed on.

“She was not killed by Boko Haram o. She died after suffering from malaria. I wonder where the report is coming from that she was killed by Boko Haram. The media should learn how to confirm their news before posting it to the word,” the family source said Friday morning.
