Idoma can be Benue governor in 2023 – President Buhari govt
Special Assistant to President Muhammadu Buhari on Disability, Dr Samuel Ankeli, has declared that a Benue State Governor from Idoma extraction is achievable in 2023.
Dr Ankeli made the declaration Friday afternoon during a courtesy call on Amb. Noah McDickson, an APC chieftain and governorship hopeful in the 2023 general elections.
Ankeli, who advised the Idoma nation to come together in other to achieve a formidable outing in the 2023 general elections, encouraged all Idoma sons and daughters qualified for the number one position to come out en-mass but remain mindful of the eleventh hour politics of greedy politicians from the Idoma ethnic nationality who are out only to cause confusion against the collective agitation of the Idoma people.
He advised contestants in the race to respect one another and come together to achieve this great and noble cause at the appropriate time.
In his response, Amb. Noah McDickson whose campaign posters for Benue State governorship position recently flooded the internet expressed satisfaction with Dr Ankeli for the visit.
Amb. Noah made it clear that he has been fighting for the Idoma nation and may consider the recent call on him by the Benue Youths for Change to throw his hart into the governorship race.
He said his consideration for the race is born out of his desire to project the Idoma agenda, and by extension, Benue State at large, declaring that he is out to oil the development wheels of Benue State and pull out it out of the dungeons of unimaginable socioeconomic backwardness.
Some of the dignitaries present at the parley include Comrade King Apeh Peterhot, Hon. Onah John Sunday, Comrade Sunday Idoko (Suckur) and many others.
