One of the promoters of Idoma cultural heritage and Abuja based media practisioner, Sunday Itodo (a.k.a Yemi Itodo) has expressed optimism that the Idoma entertainers would soon project Idoma nation into the global map. Speaking to Journalists in Abuja on Friday, the Public Relations Expert said what the Idoma celebrities and youths in general needed was to come together and front a unified course, adding that no nation has ever become great without peace and unity.
Mr. Itodo, who is a Secretary of Idoma Film Unity Forum, a reconciliation and peace committee recently inaugurated to design working framework for the Idoma Actors, Producers, Directors, Marketers, Music Producers and Publicists; said the unity of Idoma actors was non negotiable. Speaking on the peace meeting, the Chairman of the forum, Owoicho Gabriel said all arrangements had been perfected for the Abuja Peace Talk.
“Almost all the delegates for the peace talk have arrived, from Otukpo, Lagos, Porthacourt, Niger and other areas. Others would arrived in the morning”, Owoicho said.
The event which is holding tomorrow, Saturday 5th, 2016 shall take place at Boundary Plaza Hotel, by Checking Point, Nyanya, Abuja by 12.00 noon.
