A chieftain of the All Progressives Congress, Elder Noah McDickson, has denied stopping some prominent Idoma natives from attending the just-concluded Benue Rebirth Movement stakeholders meeting in Otukpo on Thursday.

McDickson was accused of discouraging prominent Idoma sons like Sen Ebute, Chief Audu Ogbeh, Chief Steven Lawani, Chief Okibe Onoja, Sen. David Mark, the deputy governor, Engr Benson Abounu from attending the meeting.

However, the APC chieftain said he did not know anything about the allegation being leveled against him.

He made this known in a statement released on Friday morning.

Good morning my dear beloved compatriots and the good people of Benue South Senatorial District.

Hope we all had wonderful and blissful night rest?

Thanks be to God.

I had a sleepless night due phone calls from concerned citizens, that it was alleged, I Noah McDickson prevented the likes of Sen Ebute, Chief Audu Ogbeh, Chief Steven Lawani, Chief Okibe Onoja, Sen. David Mark, the deputy governor, Engr Benson Abounu, national Assembly members, state Assembly members, local government chairmen and other prominent personalities from attending the Just concluded BRM stakeholders meeting in Otukpo.

For the purpose of clarity, I Noah McDickson do not know anything about what I have been accused of.

However, if my presence in BRM is being considered a problem/virus, then it’s better am out for peace to reign.

In any organization, there are channels to follow if one is suspected to have caused a problem.

Set up a disciplinary committee to try the accused before taking action, but here the reverse is the case.

I have been removed from PMC, instructed by AVM Monday Morgan.

Like I said, I’m always available for questioning and if proved otherwise, be sanctioned accordingly.

Finally, I wise to state categorically that, am still committed to the development of our land, and will always make sacrifice if need be.

I therefore call on all to be committed like the Distinguished senator Abba Moro who took time out of his tight schedules to attend the meeting with other prominent personalities like Gen Adoga, Dr Sam odeh and others.

May the good Lord make it possible for us to realize our desired dreams.

Love you all.
