It was indeed a parade of beautiful Nigerian cultures and colors on Friday as Regina Pacis Girls Secondary School, Abuja, celebrated its cultural fiesta, with a call on parents to train their children to respect traditional cultural practices.

In her opening address, the principal of the school, Rev. Sr. Aloysius Onwuegbuchulam, highlighted that the day was dedicated to celebrating the positive aspects of the nation’s cultural norms and values.

The chairman of the Catholic Commission, Catholic Archdiocese of Abuja, Rt. Rev. Monsignor Kenneth Enang, in his speech, encouraged parents to instill African cultural values in their children.

Students representing various Nigerian ethnic groups, including Yoruba, Hausa, Igbo, Tiv, and Idoma, showcased traditional dances in celebration of the rich diversity of Nigerian heritage.
