Chief Magistrate’s Court in Lagos’ Yaba axis has ordered that Adekunle Lawal, also known as Kunle Poly, a leader of the National Union of Road Transport Workers (NURTW), be remanded at the Kirikiri correctional center pending the outcome of the allegations leveled against him in the Idumota clashes.
The judge said that Kunle Poly should be remanded at the center, as allegations brought against him on the clashes that claimed lives and resulted in the destruction of property were yet to be proven untrue.
