My Tiv people….
Make i burst una head.
If you enter any office in Abuja and you don’t see an Idoma person, run away. Apart from Hausa, Idoma is a language being widely spoken in plenty offices in Abuja cos of their population everywhere.
Are you also aware there are some offices here in Abuja you enter and say you are a Tiv person, this inexplicable look comes on the faces of people?
See ehn, dem no too like us for Nigeria and that isn’t hidden anymore. We no even fit like our own selves?
Correct me if I am wrong but the chairmen of Ado local government Comrade James Oche and Otukpo local government Hon George Alli have Tiv sons in their cabinet. I am talking of Idoma local governments o.
You tell a fellow Tiv man you’re his brother and he starts asking you your local government, your father’s name, your village and all.
I have never seen the Idomas insult their king publicly, i have never seen them condemn their Senator, house of reps members or chairmen on Facebook. If you have seen, i haven’t. I repeat, if we don’t learn some things from our Idoma brothers, we the Tivs are the Majority in Benue state but will one day wake up and discover we are now the majority minority.
