Ifeanyi Adeleke’s death: Lagos Police PRO sends message to Davido, Chioma

The Lagos State Police Command has Public Relations Officer, SP Benjamin Hundeyin, has sent his condolences to Nigerian singer, David Adeleke, aka Davido and his fiancee, Chioma Rowland over the death of their son, Ifeanyi.

Ifeanyi, 3, died by drowning at his dad’s Banana Island home few days after his birthday.

The report said the couple had traveled for a family gathering to Ibadan yesterday and had left Ifeanyi with his minders who can’t explain how he entered the pool without being noticed and drowned.

Reacting, Hundeyin prayed God to grant them the much needed strength to bear the loss.

He tweeted, “It can be tough having to confirm certain incidents. My heart goes out to
@davido and @thechefchi at this difficult period. May God grant them the much needed strength to bear the loss.”
