National body of the Igbo Students Union has empowered some Internally Displaced Persons, IDPs, in Benue State, with the sum of N10,000 each.
It was gathered that the group made the donation to support the IDPs after training them in cake baking, zobo making, cap weaving e.t.c.
Krayzietee Atu, the local social media influencer who shared the news on Facebook wrote;
“After training the IDPs in cake baking, zobo making, cap weaving e.t.c today, the national Igbo students union Benue chapter has empowered the IDP trainees with 10,000 each to support them in their little way.
This are Igbo students, but they saw the way the Benue IDPs are suffering and decided to assist in a way they can…
