Igumale Traditional Council pays courtesy visit on James Oche, okays his leadership style

…As William Otsonu Donates 3 Bedroom Bungalow to House JTF in Ado

Led by the Ad’ Ado who is the Chairman, Ado Traditional Council, His Royal Highness, Chief Joseph Otsiko Onazi, the Igumale Traditional Council yesterday, June 19th paid a courtesy visit on the Chairman Elect of Ado Local Government Area Council, James Oche in his country home of Apa-Agila.

The essence of the visit as informed by a press release from the Local Government Information Officer, Samuel Ogbu, was to formally congratulate him on his victory at the polls and also express satisfaction with his leadership disposition over time, right from when he held sway as Caretaker Chairman.

Speaking during the visit, the Ad’ Ado who was also accompanied by Ozoko Igumale, the Traditional Prime Minister, Chief Adadu Otse expressed happiness over the emergence of James Oche as Chairman and further expressed hopes that his tenure would witness unprecedented development in the land. The visitors presented gifts which included yams, goat and drinks as well as the traditionally revered kola nut.

Responding, James Oche expressed happiness over the development and said he was more than honoured by the visit. He appreciated the traditional fathers for finding him worthy of their royal blessings and said his administration would try its best to overrun their expectations.

Also speaking at the event, Ado third class Chief for Zone B who was on ground to welcome the Royal Fathers, Chief Douglas Ogenyi Otseme appreciated the council of Igumale Traditional fathers for the wise thought of paying their son, the chairman elect a visit. Others present at the event were Deputy Chairman Elect, Solomon Aboh, immediate past Chairman Abel Onazi, Former Vice Chairman, Hon. Sunday Aboh and the entire PDP Exco for Apa Ward led by the Chairman, Abraham Ochoga.

In another development, Hon. William Otsonu has donated his three bedroom bungalow to the James Oche administration in Ado to be used as the office of the Joint Task Force in Apa-Agila. He said the sacrifice was in support of Oche’s determination to stamp out crime.

Oche while taking custody appreciated Hon. Otsonu for the great support and promised that, the facility was going to be put to utmost use in the fight against insecurity within the area.
