Iheanacho’s goal against Crystal Palace named goal of the season

Nigerian international, Kelechi Iheanacho’s league goal against Crystal Palace, has been named Leicester City’s Goal Of The Season.

The Foxes made the announcement on their official Twitter page on Friday.

“Now to reveal our 2020/21 𝗚𝗼𝗮𝗹 𝗼𝗳 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗦𝗲𝗮𝘀𝗼𝗻 ⚽️

It’s @67Kelechi 🆚 Crystal Palace 💥,” the tweet read.

IDOMA VOICE reports that the former Manchester City recently made history as First Player To Score On Every Weekday In A Single Season In The Premier League, after his brilliant goal in Leicester’s 2-1 defeat to Chelsea on Tuesday.

Iheanacho’s goal scoring form heavily paid off with the Foxes winning their first FA Cup ever.

Leicester is 5th the EPL table with just one game left.
