Former Real Madrid keeper, Iker Casillas has reacted to rumours of him dating Colombian singer and pop star, Shakira.
Recall that Casillas became single after finalising divorce from journalist Sara Carbonero, as Shakira on her path separated from Barcelona defender Gerard Piqué.
Daily Mail reported that Casillas recently followed the singer on Instagram, which then fuelled speculation that the pair were an item. The former Los Blancos keeper was then quick to take to social media to dismiss the rumours that he was dating the Grammy Award winner.
He however, shared a series of screen grabs from articles on his Instagram stories and then added emojis to indicate that he doesn’t know where these rumours came from.
Shakira and Piqué confirmed their separation in June, 2022 after 12 years together. The couple have two kids together but separated after the defender was found to have cheated on the pop star.
