US Gospel rapper, Lecrae has declarerx that he is Nigerian and has given himself a Nigerian name “Adewale Obinna” after finding out through DNA test that his ancestors came from Nigeria.
Grammy award winning gospel artiste, Lecrae says he has changed his name to Adewale Obinna.
The ‘Jireh’ hit maker revealed this on his Instagram page on Friday December 16 after visiting Nigeria for a concert.
He said a DNA test carried out shows his ancestors came from Nigeria and that he had experienced love and kindness like no other while he visited Nigeria.
