Nollywood actress, Nse Ikpe-Etim has opened up on how she feels not having her own children.
IDOMA VOICE reports that adenomyosis is a condition in which endometrial tissue exists within and grows into the uterine wall.
Adenomyosis most often occurs late in childbearing years and typically disappears after menopause.
Sometimes, adenomyosis may cause heavy or prolonged menstrual bleeding, severe cramping, pain during intercourse or blood clots that pass during a period.
In an interview with Chude Jideonwo, the actress said she was not ashamed about not being able to have kids of her own.
Her words: “Finding out I couldn’t have children didn’t make me feel ashamed. I felt inadequate.
“Where I’m from we don’t tie shame to ourselves. Where I was brought up, we live through life fully.”
When asked if she is open to adoption, Nse said: “You never say never, but right now, my husband and I are just dog parents.
“People should be allowed to live, my husband and I are okay right now.”
