I’m ready to die for APC’s victory – Orji Kalu
Senator Orji Uzor Kalu, representing Abia North, has declared his unwavering loyalty to the All Progressives Congress (APC), stating he is ready to lay down his life to secure victory for the party in future elections.
Speaking at his country home in Igbere, Abia State, the former governor reaffirmed his commitment to President Bola Tinubu and the APC, insisting that the party remains strong in the state.
“I am ready to lay down my life for the party. I am a strong and committed member of the APC — to the core. That’s why the APC is strong in Abia North,” Kalu said while addressing journalists.
He expressed confidence that the party would deliver victory for President Tinubu in Abia State, both now and in the 2027 general elections.
“We have done it in the past, and we will do it again in 2027,” he added.
Kalu also praised President Tinubu’s efforts in governance over the last two years, saying his administration has achieved enough to win over the support of Nigerians.
Commenting on the state of the economy, the former Senate Chief Whip urged patience, expressing optimism that Tinubu’s policies would lead to a recovery.
“The economy needs time to bounce back. The President is working to ensure that the naira regains its value,” he stated.
