I’m ready to face Ben in court over assault allegations – Handi

Evicted Big Brother Naija housemate, Handi Danbaki, has announced her readiness to engage in a legal confrontation with fellow contestant Ben, following his threat of legal action against her.

Ben’s threat comes after Handi and her twin sister, Wanni, accused him of sexual assault during their time on the show.

In a recent interview with Classic 97.3 FM, Handi recounted how Ben had apologized during the show, prompting her to initially let the matter go. However, she expressed surprise at Ben’s subsequent legal threats, reaffirming her belief in her accusations.

Handi stated her determination to defend her claims in court, saying, “I momentarily set the issue aside because after the Saturday night party, he [Ben] came to me and said, ‘That’s not who I am.’ He was crying and I thought, okay, I’ll drop the case. But he did what he did. I really wish Biggie had shown me the video or any evidence, but I know my body. I know when something happens to me. I’m not naive.

“I would never accuse someone of wrongdoing unless I was certain about it. While I chose to move past it, if he wants to pursue legal action, I’m prepared to face him.”
