Former Minister of Education, Femi Fani-Kayode has described as insulting the report of his alleged defection to the All Progressives Congress.
The media was awash with the news Wednesday after that FFK, as the Peoples Democratic Party’s chieftain is fondly called had pitched his tent with the ruling APC.
This followed his recent meeting with the Governor Yahaya Bello of Kogi State and his Yobe State counterpart, Mai Buni.
Reacting, however, Kayode said he has not defected to the APC.
He made the clarification via a tweet Wednesday evening.
He wrote, “Though we have had meetings across party lines and we are in a season of political consultation I have not left the PDP.”
