‘I’m tired of life’ – 28 year-old-man who raped niece in Otukpo drinks sniper

One Mr. Samuel Egbadekwu, 28, has been arrested for molesting his niece in Otukpo area of Benue State.

According to the victim whose name was not mentioned, the uncle has been molesting her, saying “this is the fifth times.”

Shem added that the last time he was caught by a family member, he attempted to commit suicide by taking sniper.

 

He was rushed to Royal Specialist Hospital and was given treatment until he recovered fully to face the law.

When asked why he decided to take sniper, he said, “I am tired of life.”

 

The SHE Initiative for Child Molestation and Gender issues led by Mrs. Julie Ooja Okoh, led the Nigeria Police Otukpo division to the hospital where the rapist was hospitalized and he was arrested.
