Gov Alia names Omale Power & Transport commissioner, Ugwu Odoh heads Environment & Water Resources [Full list]
Fr Hyacinth Alia has sworn in 17 commissioners and 23 Special Advisers in the state.
Speaking during the inauguration ceremony at the New Banquet Hall of Government House in Makurdi on Tuesday, Governor Alia urged them to be kind and generous to Benue people as well as prove themselves in their given assignments.
The Commissioners sworn-in include Joyce Luga – Cooperatives Hon. Barr. Omale Omale -Power & Transport, Hon. Dr. Yanmar M. Ortese -Health , Rev. Dr. Frederick Ikyaan Education & Knowledge Economy, Hon. Ugwu Odoh- Environment & Water Resources,Hon. Kwaghba Amande – . Matthew Aboh and Hon. Tiza Imojime- Works & Housing

All is now set for the inauguration of the cabinet of the Governor of Benue State, Hyacinth Alia.
After 92 days of resuming office, Governor Alia will swear in his commissioners and special advisers today.
The event is currently taking place at the Government House, Makurdi.
The governor is expected to swear in and assign portfolios to 14 commissioners and about 41 special advisers and assistants.
