As Nigeria celebrates her 58th Independence day anniversary, Major schools in Otukpo local government area of Benue state marked the 1st October event with outstanding march pass and cultural dance competition.
The event which was chaired by HRH Chief Dr. John O. Eimonye, the Och’Otukpo Odu was also graced by Chief David Onyilokwu Ekwo, the Ojoko K’otukpo, Hon. Owoicho Abel, Otukpo/Akpa State Constituency hopeful in 2019, amongst other top dignitaries.
The participatory schools is as Follows:
Primary/Nursery school category;
1. Tender Touch Academy (Best March pass/ Cultural dance group)
2. Sunrise Academy (2nd Best cultural dance group)
3. Daville Montessori Academy
4. Stevian Nursery and Primary School (3rd best cultural dance group).
Secondary School category;
1. Ewulo College Otukpo
2. Odumu Ocheibi memorial college (Best March pass/ 3rd best cultural dance group).
3. Vama model college (3rd Best March pass/ 3rd best cultural dance group.
4. The Mint Academy (2nd best cultural dance group).
5. Otukpo community secondary School (best cultural dance group).
