Israel: Scores killed in Hamas custody near Gaza border

Shocking videos obtained and geolocated by CNN depict the grim fate of at least four civilians who lost their lives while in the custody of Hamas, horrifyingly close to the Gaza border. The disturbing footage showcases armed fighters in the backdrop with burnt vehicles and a bulldozer, underscoring the gravity of the situation.

In one video from the Israeli kibbutz of Be’eri, southern Israel, four lifeless bodies can be seen on the ground, a distressing sight that raises urgent concerns about the safety and rights of civilians caught in the midst of violence.

Additionally, a previously geolocated video showed armed militants abducting five Israeli civilians in the same vicinity. A CNN analysis linked the clothing and hairstyles of those being escorted by armed militants with the bodies found later, further confirming the harrowing events.

Be’eri, located just three miles from Gaza’s eastern border, has witnessed these chilling incidents, putting innocent lives at grave risk.

Hamas militants have reportedly taken over 100 Israelis hostage, including high-ranking army officers. The hostages’ precise location is believed to be within Gaza, but their well-being and fate remain uncertain, adding to the distress and anguish of families awaiting their loved ones’ safe return.
