Israeli Air Force jets strike missile launchers across Iran.
The Israeli Air Force continues to carry out sustained air strikes across Iran, focusing on neutralizing missile launchers, surface‑to‑air defenses and other key military infrastructure in a campaign that commanders describe as among the largest in the country’s history.
According to military statements, more than 200 Israeli jets have struck some 500 targets in western and central Iran, including ballistic missile launch sites and radar installations, in a bid to degrade Tehran’s capacity to threaten Israel and regional stability.
Footage released by the Israel Defense Forces shows precision strikes on Iranian military positions and aircraft, and videos geolocated by independent analysts depict fighter jets returning to base after missions over Iranian territory.
The series of operations forms part of a coordinated offensive—termed Operation Roaring Lion—launched with support from the United States, which aims to dismantle Iran’s missile infrastructure and reduce its capability to strike Israeli territory.
Amid the strikes, Iran has responded with missile and drone attacks on targets across the Middle East, marking a sharp escalation in hostilities between the two countries and their allies
