Governor Godwin Obaseki of Edo State has stated that some of the issues raised by championers of End SARS movement are genuine and shouldn’t be discarded.
Speaking with Channels TV, Obaseki said their grievances must be addressed without delay.
His words, “I think we must understand the direction the end SARS protest took in Edo. For us a government, we believe the issues being raise by the young people are real and legitimate and should be addressed. Police brutality is real and we need to talk about them. We don’t have any issue with the agitation by this young people,” he said.
