JAMB gives update on 2025 UTME, DE registration

The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has clarified that registration for the 2025 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) and Direct Entry (DE) has not yet begun.

In an official statement released on its X account Wednesday, JAMB assured prospective candidates that the details for registration would be shared soon. It also advised candidates to begin their preparations by obtaining their National Identification Number (NIN) and securing a unique phone number not previously used for registration.

The post also announced a significant update, revealing The Lekki Headmaster by Kabir Alabi Garba as the recommended text for the 2025 UTME Use of English paper. JAMB encouraged candidates to read the book in advance to aid their preparation.

The board further instructed its staff to update their profiles or register anew for the upcoming examination, stressing the importance of compliance to avoid disruptions during the exam process.

Candidates are urged to stay informed and look out for more updates through JAMB’s official platforms.
