JAMB releases official update on 2022 UTME results and biometric issues

JAMB has released an official update on 2022 UTME Results and Biometric Issues.

IDOMA VOICE reports that JAMB has provided some important statistics regarding the just concluded 2022 UTME. According to the information made available via the official twitter handle of the board, 1,761,338 candidates registered for the exam out of which 1,707,626 sat the exam.

The information further revealed that the results of 1,671,203 candidates have so far been released

The results of 27,105 are said to be undergoing further screening while that of 69 candidates have been withheld.

About 1,783 candidates were said to have been affected by biometric issues and other technical irregularities and were not able to take the exam. According to JAMB, such candidates will be rescheduled to take the exam at a future date.
