My attention has been drawn to a Facebook account bearing the name HON OCHE who is purportedly resident in AKURE. The Facebook account bears the picture of Sen. Dr. David Mark as profile picture and the late MKO Abiola as cover photo. The likelihood of these features making one to link ownership of the said account to me is substantial.
The account which does not have the photographs of the real owner (possibly a pseudonym) made a post against the Executive Governor of Benue State two days.
Ordinarily, I shouldn’t be inclined to glorify the poster, but the torrents of concerns and calls as regards the post and the likely implications are compelling.
Unfortunately, many persons have mistaken the account to be mine and this warrants that I set the records straight. For the records, the account is NOT mine and the poster sent me a friend request that I have not confirmed and may never do so, as his views are reprehensible to my idiosyncrasy and line of thought.
It is a clear case of identity conflict and not that my account has been hacked as many who drew my attention to the post and some of the persons who commented on the post insinuated. My Facebook account is JAMES OCHE.
The said owner of the account last posted his acclaimed photograph as his profile picture in 2017 and has, in some of his posts moved against the personality of Sen. Dr. David Mark, a thing I would never do.
I reaffirm my commitment and loyalty to the leadership style of his Excellency, Dr. Samuel Ortom, the democratically elected, Executive Governor of Benue State particularly as regards his firm disposition to challenging open grazing and the activities of killer herdsmen and bandits in Nigeria.
