The Agila people of Idomaland are Africans. We celebrate and live our cultures to the fullest.
As we celebrate our new yam season festival, my family and the entire JOCO team and I, felicitate with the Otse ‘Agila and our kith and kin here and in the diaspora on this occasion. Let our colours and charm shine all the ways.
Let our ancestors bless and replenish our collective toils for the development of our land. May the gods be fair to our resilience. I implore our youth and folks to celebrate in peace with an yielding sense of communality and in the African spirit of unity.
May it be well with us forever. I bow in reverence and love for my people.
May God bless Agilaland,
May God bless Idomaland,
May God bless Benue State.
May God bless Nigeria.
