James Oche, other elected chairmen receive Certificates of Return in Benue
Elected Chairman for Ado Local Government in the May 30 Council polls in Benue State, James Oche today took custody of certificate of return from the State electoral body BSIEC.
Presenting the certificates in Makurdi the State Capital, the Chairman, Benue State Independent Electoral Commission (BSIEC), Dr. Tersoo Loko congratulated the winners and urged them to justify their election at the polls.
James Oche who is one of the few Caretaker Chairmen to be elected substantive Chairman polled 19,544 votes to beat his closest rival who had 344 votes to emerge winner at the polls.
With the receipt of the certificates of return, elected the Chairmen would await an official date for swearing in ceremony to stamp their administrative authorities and begin begin work.
