James Oche reacts as Idoma-born Emmanuel Akpakwu becomes Honorary Consul to Republic of Philippines

On Your Appointment as Honorary Consul to the Republic of Philippines, I am inclined to say that.

For long, you have painstakingly built a towering image in character, social engagements and industry. You have consciously too, scribed your name in gold in the hearts of many. You are a world class business mogul whose ingenuity is a reflection of honour, charisma and benevolence.

Considering your trace of indelible achievements on the transnational business and diplomatic scene, it is not surprising that you have been fished out for this honour. It has long been established and I agree too that, “a golden fish has no hiding place”.

I am highly elated over this development and sincerely wish to extend the deep felicitations of my heart to you over your appointment. I am convinced that your wealth of experience will be deployed in fashionable style to broker good economic ties between the Federal Republic of Nigeria and the Republic of the Philippines.

Congratulations on Your Well Deserved Appointment my Leader and Brother.
