James Oche set to bury father in Ado

Chief James Ogaba Oche, the elected chairman of Ado Local Government Area in Benue State, is set to lay his father, Elder Pius Ogaba Oche, to rest.

Elder Oche passed away on December 2, 2023, at the age of 83.

The funeral arrangements, as announced by the family, indicate that the final rites for Pa Oche will commence on February 8, 2024.

His remains will depart from Naowa Military Hospital Maitama, Abuja February 8 at 7 am.

The funeral procession will make a brief stopover at the Otukpo family house around 1 pm before departing for his country home, Apa-Agila, Ado LGA, at 2 pm, with an expected arrival at Apa-Agila at 4:30 pm.

The funeral service, all-night Christian wake, and tribute sessions are scheduled to commence at 5:30 pm.

In addition to the solemn proceedings, a lineup of entertainers has been organized to perform at the event. Among them are: Fred Bright, Gandoki, Mc Oyibo, Cigity, Solex, Mc Obobo, V Nice, Kole Nice, Mayjay, Meddy, B. Black, Mc Smart, Mark Owi, Geoffrey, Israel Ekele, (Gwumolo), Agih Moral, Otukpo Ogene, Aklama, Joe Williams, DJ Phatboii, DJ Orlando, among others.
