Nigerian artiste Logos Oloro, a signee under Davido’s DMW record label, has recently faced significant backlash over the visuals of his latest single ‘Jaye Lo.’

The music video has drawn criticism from many Islamic faithful who believe that its content is offensive and disrespectful to their religion.

In the music video for ‘Jaye Lo,’ scenes depicting people praying and dancing in front of a mosque have sparked controversy among viewers, leading to accusations of insensitivity towards Islam and its sacred places.

As a result, many Muslim fans and members of the Islamic community have expressed their disapproval of the video’s content and calling for its ban.

DMW boss Davido, who is also responsible for Logos Oloro’s music career, shared a short clip of the music video on Twitter, encouraging fans to stream the song.

However, his tweet faced immediate backlash from Muslim faithful who called on him to take down the video and issue an apology for what they perceive as offensive and disrespectful imagery.

The incident has ignited a broader conversation about the responsibilities of artists and content creators in ensuring cultural sensitivity and religious respect in their work.
