Published

on

The Supreme Court has adjourned all governorship appeals billed to heard today to tomorrow.

The adjournment became necessary as a result of the ill health of one of the Justices on the seven man panel billed to hear the Appeal.

The apex court was to hear the appeal instituted by Emmanuel Jime of the All Progressives Congress, APC, against the decision of the Court of Appeal which dismissed his appeal and affirmed the decision of the tribunal which upheld the re-election of Governor Samuel as the Governor of Benue State.

Other governorship appeals that were to be heard today and have been adjourned to tomorrow are that of Plateau, Sokoto, Kano, Bauchi, Imo among others.

Among the 13 appeals scheduled for today, only that of Kano was heard.
