The governor of Oyo State, Seye Makinde, has confirmed the death of a Jimoh Isiaka, a Ladoke Akintola University student, who was gunned down by police men during the End SARSm protest in Ogbomoso area of the state on Saturday.
Makinde confirmed that Isiaka was shot at the protest ground but later died at Bowen University Teaching Hospital, Ogbomoso, where he was rushed to.
He tweeted, “I have received with deep sadness the news of the passing of one of our children, Jimoh Isiaka, who was shot during the ENDSARS protest in Ogbomoso. He later died at Bowen University Teaching Hospital, Ogbomoso, earlier today.”
