The burial of the mother of Nnewi Businessman and Manufacturer, Chief Dr. Innocent Ifediaso Chukwuma, has continued to attract prominent personalities in Africa to Nnewi.
Mrs. Nwayinkwo Martina Chukwuma (Ugogbe Ezinaulo) who was buried yesterday, Friday, 25th February, 2022, has turned to a carnival of sort.
Some of the dignitaries that showed up yesterday for the burial include; the Wife of the former President of Nigeria, Her Excellency, Dame Patience Jonathan, the Wife of the Executive Governor of Anambra State, Her Excellency, Mrs. Ebelechukwu Obiano, Former Governor of Anambra State, His Excellency, Mr. Peter Obi.
Others include, the Speaker of House of Representatives, Hon. Femi Gbajabiamila, who was represented by Hon. Okwudiri Ezenwankwo, the Senator representing Anambra Central Senatorial District, Senator Dr. Uche Ekwunife, the Member representing Nnewi North, Nnewi South, and Ekwusigo Federal Constituency, Hon. Engr. Chris Emeka Azubuogu, Minister of State for Mines and Steel Development of Nigeria, Uche Ogah.
People’s Democratic Party (PDP) Candidate in the 2021 Anambra Gubernatorial election, Valentine Ozigbo, Former Deputy Governor of Central Bank, Prof. Kingsley Moghalu, Entrepreneur and Manufacturer, Chief Cletus Ibeto, the Speaker of Anambra State House of Assembly, Hon. Uche Okafor and the lawmaker representing Nnewi North in Anambra State House of Assembly, Hon. Nonso Smart Okafor.
