Jubilation in Agatu as Senator Abba Moro buys motorcycles for victims of Oshigbudu fire insident

It was great joy and wild jubilation in Oshigbudu, Agatu LGA, this evening as the Senator Representing Benue South Senatorial District, Comrade Abba Patrick Moro, took delivery of twelve motorcycles to replace the ones burnt in the inferno that gutted the community recently.

You will recall that Senator Moro had, during his on-the-spot assessment visit to the scene of the fire incident on 19th April, 2021, among other things promised to replace the burnt motorcycles for the victims to enable them continue with their business. The promise was fulfilled this evening.

The beneficiaries who could not hold back their tears (of joy) said they had never seen anything like this before. They said the Senator’s kind gesture was unprecedented and prayed God to bless him. They said his quick intervention really brought succour to them and their lost hope restored.

While presenting the motorcycles to the victims, Senator Moro urged them to consider what befell them as a test from God and accept it in good fate. He called on organisations and individuals to assist the victims of the explosion in any way they can to alleviate their sufferings.
