Jubilation in Benue State University as VC, Kembe asks students yet to pay school fees to write exams

By: Ukan Kurugh
The difficulty students and of course parents have had in paying school fees at the Benue State University for this academic session need not be overemphasized. It became a sympathetic situation as over 60 percent of the students were unable to meet the demand and were set to miss examinations.
In contemplation of economic tides and the general hardship, the Vice Chancellor of the University, Prof. Msugh Moses Kembe after one of the meetings with students union soft pedaled students who were yet to pay school fees to write exams without payment and to make such payments before their results would be released. A move that sparked uncommon jubilation among the students, praising their VC.

While I am delighted by this singular act of consideration and pity, I sincerely wish to align feelings with students of BSU in thanking you for this move. It speaks volumes of you and your ability to manage situations. I urge students not to abuse this kind gesture but to reciprocate same by trying to pay the fees they’ve been spared from within time.
