A suspected thief on Saturday met his waterloo in Calabar, Cross River State after he was burnt alive by a mob for allegedly stealing car batteries.
It was gathered that the deceased and two others had been terrorising the area and specialized in stealing car batteries.
However, on Saturday one of them was caught on Adak Ukoh street and set ablaze, while the remaining two escaped.
