Justice O. Abang of the federal high court in Abuja today withdrew from the N3.1b alleged fraud trial of a former governor of Benue state, Senator Gabriel Suswam.
This follows a last week ruling of the Appeal Court in Abuja where the the panel leader, Honourable Justice Emmanuel Agim, ordered that Abang should withdraw from the case immediately.
Agim also ordered that the case file be returned back to the former judge handling the case, Justice Ramalan Muhammed of the same Federal high court in Abuja.
Abang who was to continue with the trial today ordered his court clerk not to mention the case again as he has already withdrawn from it following the order of the Appeal court.
