Rhe Supreme Court delivered a unanimous judgment affirming the election victory of Governor Uba Sani in Kaduna State. The apex court dismissed the appeal lodged against Governor Sani’s election by the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) and its gubernatorial candidate, Isah Ashiru.
The ruling, which saw no costs awarded, solidifies Governor Uba Sani’s mandate and puts an end to the legal challenges brought forth by the opposition party and its candidate.
The Supreme Court’s verdict is part of an ongoing process, with final judgments being delivered on gubernatorial election disputes in 13 states, including Delta, Kebbi, Nasarawa, Ogun, and Gombe, among others.
