The Kaduna State Police Command has successfully apprehended two suspects found in possession of 600 bags of stolen fertilizer. The State Police Public Relations Officer, ASP Mansir Hassan, confirmed this occurrence through an official statement released on Tuesday in Kaduna.
According to Hassan, the arrest followed intelligence received on December 8, 2023, indicating the presence of a suspicious truck along the Kaduna/Zaria Road. Acting promptly, Commissioner of Police Ali Dabigi directed a team of operatives from the CP Monitoring Unit to respond to the distress call.
The CP Monitoring Unit, led by ASP Abdullahi Idris, swiftly mobilized a group of detectives, resulting in the interception of the truck along the Kawo axis. Subsequently, one suspect, identified as the truck driver from Nassarawa Pan Madina in Igabi Local Government Area of Kaduna State, was apprehended.
ASP Mansir Hassan emphasized the successful collaboration between intelligence gathering and the proactive response of law enforcement, highlighting the commitment of the Kaduna State Police Command to curbing criminal activities in the region.
