The Nigeria immigration Service on Sunday lost some of its officers along Kano-Zaria Road.
The unfortunate event transpired as the officers were returning to Abuja from Kano after participating in a Passing-Out-Parade (POP) at the Immigration Training School.
Reports indicate that the auto crash claimed the lives of two individuals.
The Nigeria Immigration Service officially confirmed the heartbreaking incident on its official platform, expressing condolences and grief: “Our candles go up while our hearts are heavy.”
Labaran Abdullahi, FRSC Public Relations Officer, Kano Sector Command, stated that two officers died on the spot while seven others have been taken to hospital for medical attention.
