Kano Pillars, a Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) club, has announced the signing of six new players ahead of the upcoming season.
The newly signed players include defenders Dawud Ibrahim, a left-back from Kebbi United, and Uzogara Kennedy, a central defender from Rivers United.
The club has also strengthened its attack by acquiring three strikers: Eshimitu Gomino Eya from FRSC, Hadi Mohammed Olarewanju from Bayelsa United, and Jerry Alex, who returns to the club after stints with Maltese Premier League sides Mosta FC and Senglea FC.
Midfielder Ezeh Charles joins the four-time NPFL champions on a free transfer, having previously played for Lillestrøm SK in Norway and FK Kom in Montenegro.
In addition, four players have left the club. Usman Aminu Maidubji and Yusuf Abdullahi have joined NNL side Barau FC and Plateau United on loan until the end of the season, respectively. Ghanaian midfielder Emmanuel Anaful’s contract was mutually terminated, and striker Abdulmajeed Aminu is set to move to South African side Moneni Pirates.
