Karimo market gutted by fire in Abuja

An early morning fire has engulfed the Fire had gutted the popular Karimo market in the Federal Capital Territory, Abuja.

The fire which started at the early hours of Thursday affected many shops.

Many goods have been burnt during the inferno.

The cause of the inferno is unknown as St the time of filing this report but our correspondent gathered that firefighters have arrived at the scene to extinguish the fire.

In July last year, the market also went up in flames, razing no fewer than 200 stalls.
