A violent confrontation has broken out between Mai Nore’s gang and the Buzaro terrorist group in the Dan-Ali region of Dan-Musa Local Government Area, Katsina State.
Zagazola Makama, a counterterrorism and insurgency expert focused on the Lake Chad Basin, shared the news on Wednesday through a post on his X handle.
According to Makama, intelligence sources reported significant casualties on both sides of the conflict.
He noted that over 20 bodies were allegedly found at the scene.
“An eyewitness described the battle as intense, with the sound of prolonged gunfire echoing throughout the area,” the security expert added.
