Katsina-Alu: How Benue-born former Chief Justice of Supreme Court died

The death has been announced of Aloysius Iyorgyer Katsina-Alu, former Chief Justice of the Supreme Court of Nigeria.

The former Chief Justice was said to have died on Wednesday morning at the age of 76. He was to be 77 in a few weeks.

The real cause of his death could not be ascertained as at press time.

Katsina-Alu, a Benue man, was Chief Justice of the Supreme Court as from December 2009 and left office in August 2011.
