A tragic incident unfolded in Kwarikwarasa village, located in the Maiyama Local Government Area of Kebbi State, as gunmen took the lives of two individuals and abducted six others.
Reports indicate that the armed assailants launched their attack during the early hours of Saturday, causing fear and chaos in the community.
In response to this distressing event, Governor Nasiru Idris swiftly visited the affected area to reassure the community. During his visit, he conveyed the government’s commitment to preventing such incidents from occurring in the future. He stated, “Security agencies have been provided with all the necessary support and cooperation to combat criminal activities throughout the state.”
