Kebbi Attack: Gunmen kill two, abduct six other

A tragic incident unfolded in Kwarikwarasa village, located in the Maiyama Local Government Area of Kebbi State, as gunmen took the lives of two individuals and abducted six others.

Reports indicate that the armed assailants launched their attack during the early hours of Saturday, causing fear and chaos in the community.

In response to this distressing event, Governor Nasiru Idris swiftly visited the affected area to reassure the community. During his visit, he conveyed the government’s commitment to preventing such incidents from occurring in the future. He stated, “Security agencies have been provided with all the necessary support and cooperation to combat criminal activities throughout the state.”

Governor Idris emphasized that his administration would spare no effort in ensuring the safety and security of the state’s residents, pledging to do whatever it takes to achieve this goal.
