Khloe hits back at podcast producers for misrepresentation

Former Big Brother Naija participant, Busayo Abiri, popularly known as Khloe, has taken issue with the organizers and producers of a podcast, accusing them of distorting her statements and presenting a misleading narrative. Khloe recently featured on the ‘Bahd and Boujee’ podcast hosted by Moet Abebe and TolaniBaj to address various topics, including her opinions on men, money, her Brazilian Butt Lift (BBL), and natural hair.

Facing criticism for her views on the podcast, Khloe contends that the producers set her up by manipulating the narrative. During the interview, she mentioned her BBL, expressing that she underwent the procedure because she loves herself. Additionally, she suggested that while natural hair is suitable for certain occasions like church and the beach, investing in good wigs for other events is advisable.

In her defense, Khloe clarified, “May we never become victims of miscommunication. The media and those who control the narrative are truly not to be trusted.” She acknowledged that certain aspects of the conversation might have been taken out of context and accused the podcast producers of using edited and manipulated clips as clickbait to generate controversy and views.

Khloe emphasized that the podcast was edited to suit the producers’ agenda, tarnishing her image for clicks and views. Despite expressing her desire for the video not to be immediately shared after the recording, she claimed the producers ignored her request. Khloe attributed the controversy to a miscommunication with one of the hosts, resulting in a heated argument during the shooting of the episode.

She concluded by expressing frustration with the situation and lamented the lack of control over the final edited content, alleging that her image was intentionally marred by the podcast producers.
